The past is gone, the future is not yet here, and if we do not go back to ourselves in the present moment, we cannot be in touch with life.
-Thich Nhat Hanh

our presence is sacred

Being human is not an effortless endeavour. Countless challenges and obstacles can arise on our journey that cause us to feel lost, confused, and uncertain of our place in this world. These feelings can make it difficult for us to authentically connect with ourselves and others in healthy, safe ways while also interfering with our ability to feel and understand our emotions fully, while adding to our confusion and uncertainty about our life choices. When trauma and loss occur and are added to the journey, life can at times feel unbearable. Whether or not you have experienced trauma, living as a human is a challenge and at times may even feel like a struggle when we do not feel resourced with the tools and awareness needed to navigate life's hurdles. Trauma as a result of loss, abuse, or neglect leads to blockages in our energetic and physical bodies that require attention in order to be processed and released so we are able to return to healthier functioning and union with ourselves. Unprocessed trauma that is trapped and held in our bodies and energetic field affects our emotional, physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing and prevents us from feeling good in our bodies and in our life. It's understandable that you may feel confusion or doubt about your place in the world, a sense of separation or not belonging that lingers regardless of how many family or friends you are in contact with. And it is also possible that you may simultaneously feel a sense that there is something more to discover, a path to feel better in your life and gain a clearer understanding of how you function and why. This is the path that will inevitably lead to a deepening of self love and acceptance as you release outdated patterns of thinking and behaviour and embrace your unique and significant nature.

If you feel unheard in your life and are seeking guidance, I am here to listen. I want to help you heal what needs healing so you can live a fuller, more aware and embodied life for your highest good and the highest good of the whole. We truly are in this together, and as we do our individual work and learn our individual lessons, we raise the frequency of love on this planet and beyond.

I am trauma-informed and approach therapy from a person-centered & holistic framework, meaning you are seen for the unique individual being that you are, and all of the parts that you consist of are welcome and worthy of attention and love. It is your wisdom that we are working together to bring forth. I use a combination of talk therapy with somatic techniques as I strongly believe that true and lasting healing involves our body, mind, heart, and soul. I also bring in theory and tools from Attachment Theory and Narrative Therapy.
